::-webkit-search-results-button
Non-standard: This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.
The ::-webkit-search-results-button
CSS pseudo-element represents a button (the "search results button") at the left edge of an <input>
of type="search"
which when clicked displays a menu which allows the user to choose from previous recent search queries. This button and pseudo-element are non-standard, supported only in WebKit and Blink, hence the vendor prefix. The search results button is only shown on search <input>
elements that have a results
attribute.
